Responding to the Bury Fringe '08 appeal for more local artists
in local venues, the Black Notes Trio (Jane Richardson, Gina Patrick
and Mick Underwood) have arranged an evening entitled The Big Easy.
West Road Church is a modern building which seats about 200, but for this
evening it will be arranged intimately with small tables, candlelight
and a dance area. This is not at all the kind of evening where
you will be expected to sit in starchy silence.
Think jazz club - but without the smoke and with music of
broad appeal. There will be jazz standards but also swing, popular ballads & easy listening.
Lounge smooth and freezer cool.
Light refreshments will be available in include smoothies and patisseries.
The aim is a relaced ambience where everything is low-key but high quality.

Admission is free. This is a Bury Fringe '08 charity event and there will be opportunity for you
to contribute, if you wish, to the
Tear Fund Charity.
