Welcome to Bury Fringe 2008!

Bury Fringe 08 is now well underway... We've seen some great entertainment, but there's plenty more to come.

There are a range of performances from local groups such as 'Don't ask' a Jazz fusion band and the 'Aquarius Singers' a ladies choir. These events are complimented by groups such as 'Nancy Kerr and James Fagin' with a traditional and original evening of folk music hosted by the 'Milkmaid Folk Club.'

There's also theatre from Daywalker, presenting Constitutional Comedy Cuts, and Stagecoach bring us Hitz of the Blitz.

For more events, take at look at the whole diary. Come enjoy a fringe show soon!

An alternative festival for Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk.

The idea of the Bury Fringe Festival is to focus on the wealth of talent available at a much more local level and to also attract performers, shows, bands, musicians, art projects etc. which are not readily catered for by the official festival.

The Fringe Festival has been set up to act as a platform for any group, individual, club, school, gallery, public venue or any other interested organisation to organise a single public performance or series of performances during the period of the festival.

The Fringe Festival is a community event organised by a small committee working with local venues and people. The committee would like to extend their gratitude to everyone who is contributing in any way.
